Personality>> Morgan has an odd combination of traits. She's a very fierce person overall, and tends not to care much about the opinions of others. She stands up for herself and others and doesn't back down from confrontation. She's been in physical fights more than once. She's an activist and outspoken about her beliefs.
On the other hand, Morgan is very quiet. Her voice is somewhat low in general, but she just doesn't say much. She prefers to watch and listen and she takes her time speaking. She doesn't have a smart mouth and she's not very quick with comebacks. This makes her a bit of a target at times, especially around those who are more boisterous and loud.
She has a pretty thick shell and isn't bothered by most outside factors. Morgan has been teased, praised, and betrayed without it having much of an effect on her well-being. Her biggest rival is her own mind. She suffers from OCD that mostly manifests in violent intrusive thoughts. She actively avoids any weapons or violent movies/tv shows/books because of the obsessive thoughts they give her. She never acts on any of them, and actually when she's been known to fight people it's out of spur of the moment feelings instead of a result of repeated intrusive thoughts.
The thoughts scare Morgan, and make her believe she's a much worse person than she really is. She's not one to ask for help either. In general, Morgan tries to fix everything herself. You'll only know that there's been a problem when it manifests itself in ways Morgan can't control.
She's a good person overall. She's intelligent, but not a genius. Loyal, kind, generous - but never enough to stand out from every other decent human being.

Appearance>> Morgan is roughly 5'7". Not small, but not all that big either. She's built like someone who spends all her time outdoors, which she does. She's lean and fit - fairly muscular. Her nails are usually short and kind of dirty and her hands would never make model hands with the amount of scars and calluses built up on them.
Her hair is generally black, curly, and all over the place. Her eyes are dark and intense - there's no "soft chocolate" about her eyes.
She's got a sort of grunge, alt style - very different from the rustic arkansas where she lives. You can normally see her in a band tee or tanktop, flannel, and "artistically" ripped jeans. She tends to favor converse or combat boots for shoes. Her barn wear isn't much different, except for the change of riding breaches and boots. She's still getting used to the feel of nice breaches, before this Morgan has ridden in jeans, shorts, and occasionally a swimsuit.
Markings>>She has her ears pierced multiple times, but for the sake of the school she's taken out all but one pair. Her hands are notably scarred - especially a big one across the palm of her left hand. It is the remainder of a childhood blood pact.
Medical History>>2 visits to the hospital. One for stitches from the illconcieved blood pact, and another for a concussion from a car accident almost exactly a year ago. Except for the concussion, everyone involved was ok. However, it was Morgan's best friend (the same one as the blood pact) driving, and Morgan doesn't place much trust in the friend anymore.
Full History>> Morgan was born into a very religious family. Exactly what religion, she's not very sure. Her household is large, consisting of her mom, dad, aunt, grandparents on her mom's side, four siblings (and one husband), and a rotating cast of neighbor children who seem to live at the house, especially in the summer.
Her mother is Catholic, her father Muslim, and her aunt is a Wiccan. Her oldest sibling and her husband are Jehova's witnesses. Her grandparents are atheist. It makes for an incredibly strange household, but somehow they've worked it out. There's an agreement (after the fight of 2006) that every belief is to be tolerated, if not necessarily accepted. This doesn't, however, mean that Morgan is out to her family. Her sexuality is something she feels is safer kept to herself.
The Miles clan lives in rural arkansas, on about 200 acres of land. They keep several horses, and are always rescuing new ones and selling their recently rehabilitated equines. They don't all live in one house, but rather a collection of two trailers, a house, and a camping area set up in the backyard in summer.
It's crowded and loud, leading Morgan to be pretty aloof from her family. They don't really notice one less member anyway. It does cause problems for her at school, and she's nearly constantly teased and questioned about her family. Morgan ignores them, but it's taught her that speaking is often just a way to dig yourself a deeper hole.
She mostly hangs out with her oldest sister, Clary, and her husband Joshua. They are the ones who spend the most time with the horses, and it's through there that Morgan discovered her love for all things horse.
Through training the horses, she's become proficient at a number of styles. She's actually best at western, because that's what the majority of the horses there are trained in, but her real love is cross-country jumping. She loves taking the horses out on runs across the fields, jumping whatever may come in their way.
When Morgan learned about Blue Ridge, she begged and begged to come. It was the perfect place, somewhere to learn how to really ride and better yet somewhere far away from her smothering family. She wanted to be somewhere where she was known for being Morgan, not as part of the crazy Miles clan. Her parents initially denied the request, but their refusal didn't last long. Eventually Morgan got her way and now here she is.
