Gabby's excited face peered out of her adopted father's minivan, enthusiastically shifting her feet so she would get a better view. Her long, straight strawberry blonde hair fell past her shoulders, strands catching in the girl's mouth as she struggled to sit up. Stormy blue eyes shining, the fourteen year old girl glanced at the trailer pulling behind them. A slight squeal of excitement drew from her, the girl practically bouncing impatiently in her seat. Eventually, the minivan pulled up in front of the main office, and Gabby swiftly unbuckled her seat belt. " C'mon, Da! We're here! " Gabby shrieked happily, landing on her feet outside of the door. Her tennis shoes pattered quickly across the pavement to the back of the trailer.
Pushing a few buttons, the girl danced on her feet impatiently as the trailer door slowly creaked open. When it finally creaked open, the girl slowly approached her black appaloosa with a wide grin. " Steady girl... " she coaxed softly, grabbing the lead rein and gently leading the mare out into the sunlight. It was only holding Daun's reins that kept her from squealing like a girl and practically jumping up and down. Tying her to a post, the grass squelched underneath her tennis shoes as Gabby practically shot like an arrow to the door. " Umm.. Bye, Da! " she called cheerfully, waving ecstatically as her father got into the minivan and began to slowly pull away with the trailer slowly dragging behind.
Then the girl swiftly opened the door and flounced into the room happily. Gabby winced as the door slammed, but then she walked forward slowly. " Gabriella Lynn Huntington here. " she announced.
