Personality>> Bright and bubbly by nature, Sami is not everyone's cup of tea. His enthusiasm for life is unbridled and he genuinely enjoys meeting new people, finding out about them and really getting to know them, though this means that he may sometimes seem incredibly nosy. This is because he is, albeit with the purest of motivations. He will be a loyal and caring friend to those who he trusts, but doesn't cope well with adversity, preferring to shut people out and try to pretend that they don't exist rather than attempting to argue with them. Appearance>> Not especially tall and with somewhat delicate features, Sami is occasionally mistaken for a girl, especially since his hair is longer than might be considered usual and has a definite degree of curliness to it. His eyes are dark brown and stand out against his light skin, while the colour of his hair can be anywhere between sandy and dark brown, depending on how much sun it has been exposed to recently. Generally, he hovers in a comfortable middle ground; though not especially slender, he certainly isn't fat, and though not particularly stringy, he's not noticeably muscular either. His dress sense is... variable.

Full History>> Born in the state of Ohio along with his twin sister, Sami was the son of a senior ex-army police officer and a prominent fashion journalist. From a young age, his father insisted on having his hair buzz-cut, dressing him in blues and blacks and, not so subtly, grooming him for a career in the police force. However, this was not a career which held even the slightest interest for the boy; he didn't like the idea of having to fight with criminals, the thought of the antisocial hours was a strong deterrent, and he was terrified by loud noises and high speeds.
There was no way that Sami would ever become a police officer, but that didn't mean that his father was going to admit defeat, and he continued to push his son into all kinds of things- martial arts, football, boxing- in which he had not the slightest interest. Instead, Sami preferred to spend time with his sister's horse and curling up with a book- until, of course, he got a little older and discovered the existence of cheerleading. Well, that was it; he was sold from that point on, and despite the best efforts of his father, Sami stuck to his guns, continuing with both his riding and his cheerleading. Eventually, there came a point where it was discovered that he was being bullied over these preferences by his classmates, and so his father, disappointed that his son apparently wasn't strong enough to stick up for himself, decided to send him off to Blue Ridge, in the hopes that being away from home would toughen him up. However, he flatly refused to go without his sister, and so the pair were both packed off together.
