Maeve had had enough of people for the time being, and rather than taking option A; sitting in a shower until she felt calm again, she had grabbed a couple of her 'personal study' books and had made her way out to the largest pasture to do a little study.
She found a spot for herself under one of the large trees. Looking up, she was sure she could see some subtle signs of the world beginning to awaken after months of slumber, though she knew it would still be a few more weeks before the signs were more noticeable. "Spring will be here soon enough." She said to the dragon lying on the grass beside the tree. "A chance for the Earth to start over again. For the next six months anyway."
Opening the first book, she began to read through the different meanings of candle colours. Opening her Book of Shadows, she grabbed a pencil and began to draw the outline of a candle and then outlined the word white. Putting the pencil away, she picked up the black pen she used in the book and began to list the key associations and purposes for using a white candle... though a white candle could be used for anything and everything, as there was no such thing as coloured candles way back when.
She hummed softly as she worked, enjoying the noises of nature around her; the wind stirring the branches above her, the birds as they sang to each other, the sounds of the horses in the pasture tearing at the sparse grass.
