Hanging out with horses

Brie decided that today she would visit Red Willow Barn and see if she could find her horse Orion. She was bored, and hadn't seen any ongoing classes yet, so in her spare time, she would hang out with Orion. She was best friends with her horse, practically. It seemed like Orion wasn't friendly around others, really, except Brie. Orion and Brie had a strong bond, and Brie planned on taking him for a ride during her weekend.

As Brie headed into the barn, she looked around until she noticed the familiar-colored stable of Orion, and when she saw the gray Tennessee Walker, she knew it was Orion. Quickly, she headed over. "How are you, Orion?" Brie asked, gently petting the horse of hers.

Maeve whistled as she walked through the barn, greeting the various horses as she walked passed, and making a huge fuss over Narcissus as he looked over his door at her. She still couldn't believe that he was actually hers!

She'd imagined being here as being really hard when she had first arrived, as she'd really had no experiences around domesticated horses, though over the past six months she felt she had learned a lifetime of information, and knew that there was always so much more to learn each day; and the best part, is that she had learned as much from the horses as she had from her instructors and other students. And she loved the thrill of looking after her own horse each day.

She smiled as she saw another girl in the barn, patting one of the new horses, and as the girl wasn't familiar to her either, she wondered if the girl was also new. "Hi." She greeted with a warm smile. "I'm Maeve."
