Andie was exhausted, not that she'd tell anyone else this. The squad had done three competitions, with three more to go, and a new squad member to fit into the routines, so it was going to mean extra work for everyone and even more for herself and Kall.
With the need to literally dump her jobs for a while, after making sure she wasn't needed in Evening Primrose, she went and got Stelmaria read for a ride. She was enjoying working with the moody mare, today being no exception as the flaxen chestnut had nipped her a couple of times for being too quick and rough with the brush, and before too long she was clipping the helmet under her chin and leading the mare from the barn.
Swinging into the saddle, she squeezed the mare forward and they headed toward the trails. Using the advanced trails were a bit of a hit and miss with the Selle Luxembourg, as Andie was sure that the mare had flash-backs of her last cross country event while on them, but she continued taking the mare out on them, because she needed Stelmaria to work out that the trails were a fun place to be.
