Luke had nothing to do, and so, in the best traditions of people with nothing to do, he was doing nothing. It was not all that he had expected of it, quite frankly. In fact, it was downright boring. He was leaning against the fence of the pasture, watching the horses within. And as much as he loved horses, Luke still had to admit that he could think of more interesting things to be doing. The trouble was that right now, he couldn't exactly do any of them. It was not a good situation to find himself in. Not at all.
