Talia released a shrill whistle and laughed as Manāt paused before turning and running straight toward her, then right before the Rottie reached her, something else caught the canine's attention and she veered off in that direction. Part of her said she should call the dog back, but her whistle hadn't been to summon the energetic canine, but more to redirect her.
Her eyebrows shot up and she spun around as she heard a splash; and she shook her head as Manāt climbed out of the pond, and then shook herself from head to tail, sending a thousand droplets of water spraying in all directions. "Now you've had a bath, are you happy?" She asked with another laugh. Though an unintended swim in the pond would mean that the canine would need an actual bath when they returned to the academy.
