Ida never regretted her choice to take the job here, she got to meet loads of neat kids, and make friends with just as many mares, and one spunky stallion. With a few hours to herself she made her way over to one of the other barns and after a quick work with the barn manager, she was introduced to a Rocky Mountain Horse, by the name of Kovar.
Heading out on the trails, she sat deep in the saddle and used her seat and legs to guide the horse down the path they were following. While she had grown up riding English, she had told the barn manager that she didn't mind what discipline she rode. Now, however, sitting in a western saddle, she was wondering if she had made a mistake. She guessed the only thing was to remember not to post to the trot. She chuckled at her own musings as she turned the gelding down the trail that would eventually reach a waterfall.
