Kyoto sat on the floor of the lounge, her origami things spread out on the floor in front of her. She sat back for a moment as she eyed her treasures, and thought over what she wanted to make that day. She knew that attending school here was going to be a bit of an adjustment, not as much as her move from Sun Origin to Casper, but enough to set her world off its axis once more. And, more than anything, she missed her string of ponies - which was funny, as she'd never had ponies until she had moved in with her oji. It was her ever moving thoughts that brought her here to the lounge with her papers, as Orgami had been a form of Zen.
Since she hadn't come here with any really intention in mind, she grabbed a sheet of paper and began folding until she had created a star dish, which then led onto her opening a folder and pulling out a number of strips of brightly coloured paper and with deft fingers she quickly knotted and folded the strips until the bowl was filled with a number of wishing stars. Looking at the stars, one side of her mouth tugged up in a smile, as she thought about the fact that the stars could be threaded together and turned into a Christmas garland. Then she wondered if it was too early to start on Christmas decorations.
