Gwen walked up the aisle of the barn, Roo and Sugar behind her as she checked all of the ins and outs of the barn, as she did every day. Just making sure everything from the waterers to the latches on the doors was up to snuff. She didn't really pay much attention to her shadows, since they'd gotten used to the routine over the three years they had now been at Blue Ridge, and hadn't pulled any shenanigans recently.
That was a mistake, as it turned out. When she'd reached the end of the aisle and turned around, she only saw one fuzzy face looking back at her. Gwen raised an eyebrow, "So we know she's not in the feed room..." She trailed off, thinking. If Roo had vanished into there, Sugar would have been with her. So the red jennet was somewhere else. Unfortunately, that left quite a few options.
