If she was ever asked, Ky would easily tell people that winter wasn't her favourite season. Most of nature; the flora and the fauna, were asleep, and it seemed that humanity was quite similar, and they were more likely to hibernate - remain indoors, rather than spend time outside.
After making sure that the few plants she had around the room she currently had to herself were all happy and well looked after, and she'd done her daily zenning; raking the sand of the Zen Garden, and moving the objects around until she felt at peace with her decisions of placement, she felt the need to be doing something outside.
Walking across campus, she found herself in the Memory garden, another place that was sleeping for the colder months. Even though the plants were sleeping, and the ground seemed to be covered in a permanent layer of frost, there were still a few weeds that could possibly coving the areas that the first spring flowers would want to come through. While she knew that the Academy had a great custodian to look after the grounds, but she knew that she wouldn't get in trouble for doing the job herself, so she backtracked to the stables to grab a pair of gloves and a small flexi-bucket for weeds.
She'd made her way around half of one garden, the bucket filling up faster than she thought it would, and she wished she had all her gardening gear with her, as she could be making a much nicer job out of what she was doing, and a sound caught her attention. She frowned as she was sure it was the sound of a horse munching away at something, which was silly, as she wasn't close enough to the pastures to be able to hear one of them this clearly. Sitting back, she turned and her eyebrows shot up when she saw one of Ms Robinson's jennets eating from her weed bucket. "I'm just going to throw it out there, that you should be somewhere else?" She asked with a laugh, not worrying too much about the bucket, as there was nothing in there that would harm the donkey.
