Brilliant>> Anna has always been extremely intelligent. She easily made her way through her old school, which was known for its difficulty, at the top of her class, and she never really had to try very hard. She can be considered a child prodigy, due to her abilities in academics, specifically mathematics and the languages. Her parents always encouraged this and pushed her abilities, though not too far, as they didn't want for her to lose her enthusiasm. Anna is also exceptionally good at memorization, and though she doesn't have an Eidetic memory, she's able to memorize things very easily and comprehend them as well. Anna is aware of her abilities and doesn't really flaunt them, though she is very proud about them and some may say that she's smug about it.
Shy>> Anna is shy around those she doesn't know very well, which is most people. She has often felt alienated from her peers even though her parents have kept her with those her age. They seem to know that she is different, which only makes her more withdrawn. She is very social with adults though, and is much more comfortable speaking to them. However, Anna isn't completely a loner, and definitely comes out of her shell once she gets to know people. She really enjoys being with her friends that she feels very comfortable around. She just isn't very likely to speak to those that she doesn't know.
Focused>> Anna has always been very focused on what she wants to achieve. Her parents raised her with the idea that she could do whatever she put her mind to, and Anna stuck to that. She works until she gets what she wants, though when it comes to her family, it isn't very difficult. Her parents are both very willing to get her what she wants, so she hasn't had much need for anything material. There have been few occasions when Anna really had trouble getting something, but when she is dead set on something, she doesn't stop until she gets what she wants.
Egotistical>> She can't really help it, or at least she tells herself. Anna has always been told how amazing she is at everything by everyone: her proud parents, jealous peers, and fawning teachers. Not only are her academics practically perfect, but she is also very talented in both swimming and equestrian. When someone is always told they're perfect, they can't help but believe it. Anna has always been up on a pedestal that nobody can reach to knock her off. She's gotten to believing that she is superior to others, and that nobody can come close to her. She also has a hard time understanding and caring about others' problems, and is often much more focused on her own success.
Perfectionist>> Anna doesn't stop at good enough, or even great. Everything around her must be perfect before she can relax. She'll push herself to the very edge so that everything is perfect. She is very OCD, and everything must be neat and tidy around her. She loves to order things and make lists. To her chagrin, she is not talented at all in the arts. She's tried art and music and is terrible at them, so she stays away since she can't make it perfect, or even good.
Ambitious>> Perhaps above all, Anna is ambitious. She has high hopes for her life, and fully plans to be at the top of whatever she does. Despite the fact that she came sometimes be shy, she definitely doesn't let this get in the way of where she wants to go, and is not afraid of leadership. In the past she has been elected to leadership positions by her peers and does very well in them, as she is interestingly very convincing despite the fact that she isn't always understanding of others' problems. She is a very good problem solver however, and is able to think things through quickly and effectively.

In dreams you lose your heartaches
Appearance>> Anna is rather pretty, with her light skin and dark hair. Her hair is long, dark, and wavy, and she doesn't have to do much to it, and usually just leaves it down as is. She has light freckles over her small nose that one may notice if they look hard enough. Her eyes are a hazel-green color, and they're framed by her eyebrows, which aren't as dark as her hair. Anna's most distinctive feature may be her cheekbones, which are high and gorgeously shaped. She's on the shorter side, at 5'3", and very slim. Despite her small frame, Anna is strung with muscle from her swimming and riding, and is quite strong for her size.
When dressing, Anna is very simple and classic. She's most likely to be seen in lighter, more muted tones, as well as black and white. She is a fan of black and white patterns, but is more likely to be seen in a solid color. She doesn't like anything flashy, but prefers for her clothes to be subtle and well made.

Full History>>
Chris and Mary Edwards expected for their child to be smart. Both having gone to Ivy Leagues (Chris was a graduate of Dartmouth, and Mary of Harvard), they always expected for their daughter to do the same. They were married at a young age, and were always rather young parents in comparison to that of their daughter's peers, despite the fact that they both were very focused on their careers. Despite these high expectations, they were still shocked to find their daughter reading and spelling with her blocks at an unusual, shockingly young age. Quickly, they enrolled young Anna in a preschool for "gifted children" and hired a counselor specializing in child prodigies. Chris and Mary learned early that the raising of such a child can be quite tricky, especially if a lot of expected of them. They decided that Anna would stay with her peers and not move up any grade levels so that her social skills would not be compromised. However, she would take extra, supplementary classes outside of her school to keep her mind active and challenged.
Anna and her family lived as year-rounders in the Cape Cod town of Chatham for all of Anna's life. It was an interesting home, being quiet for most of the year, and then bustling with tourists for three months. Anna loved everything about it though. Her home was ocean-front, and she had a beach within walking distance. Each night she could hear the waves from her bedroom, and she could visit the beach whenever she wanted to. She loved Chatham's town area just as much, with all of it's quaint features. Still, Anna was tempted when her parents told her that they were looking into her attending a boarding school.
Anna had been enrolled at a small, prestigious private school fairly close to her home for most of her life. She'd sailed through at the top of her class, while taking other more difficult classes on the side. Meanwhile, she still managed to pack in a boatload of extracurricular activities. She participated in two sports (swimming and equestrian), as well as many clubs, a few of which she was an officer in. It had been a goal and expectation from a very young age that Anna would go to an Ivy League school. As a little girl, she imagined them as castles of sorts, where only princes and princesses were able to go. As she grew, they seemed even more amazing, with their gorgeous architecture and incredible standards.
When Anna was nearing high school age, her parents compiled a list of boarding schools that she could look at. Anna narrowed down the list and they visited many of them, but she did some research on her own as well. Blue Ridge Riding Academy had not been on the list of legendary boarding schools that her parents had put together, and it probably was not what they had in mind, considering its focus on riding. However, Anna wanted to pursue her passion for equestrianism a little further, and she found that Blue Ridge not only had a wonderful riding program, but also the prestigious academics that her parents were looking for. After more than a little bit of convincing, Anna was able to convince her parents that Blue Ridge Riding Academy was the school for her. Anna looks forward to enjoying her next four years at Blue Ridge and succeeding there as well, before pursuing her dream.

Personality>> Gauss seems to be a good tempered fish. She's hardy and has been able to handle everything, and seems very healthy. When Archimedes was first introduced to her, she was a bit nervous, but soon grew used to his climbing over her. She now seems to like his cleaning her and the two keep good company. Gauss has never been aggressive towards Archimedes, and is very patient of him. She follows Anna when she moves around the room, and if she didn't know better, Anna could swear that the fish understands to her when she talks.
History>> Anna decided that she wanted her own pet later than most children. Her picky nature made this difficult, and anything furry or smelly was immediately ruled out. After a lot of deliberation, Anna decided that she wanted a fish. Most aquarium owners will fill their tank with a multitude of fish, but Anna wanted just one. She wasn't going to settle for a single goldfish in a bowl though. Instead she picked out a 10 gallon tank and went through the entire process of setting up a saltwater tank. When it was prepped and ready for her fish, Anna went out to hunt for her new companion. After a lot of searching, Anna was able to find Gauss. She loved the fish's contrasting stripes, and how she was different from the normal clownfish. She brough the fish home, and named her after the famous mathemetician. Anna has loved and cared ofr Gauss ever since, thoroughly enjoying the fish's quiet company.

Personality>> Archimedes seems to be pretty average in personality as far as Anna can tell. Shrimp, of course, are not known to be the most expressive of pets. He seems to be a workoholic as far as Anna can tell, and is always cleaning (or eating). Very enthusiastic about his line of work, he is always trying to clean Gauss, though he's often pushed away when the fish has other things to do. He gets along with his fish friend very well, and she seems to appreciate his presence, and even more his work.
History>> Shortly after Anna got Gauss, she realized that she needed a good way to keep her tank clean. After trying snails, she resorted to buying a shrimp. She chose Archimedes, and was fascinated by him when she took him home. He was originally just supposed to keep her tank clean, but he's grown on Anna and now has a place in her heart beside Gauss. It took a little while for Gauss to adjust to Archimedes, but once she did, the two got along well together, and seem to enjoy each other's company.
