The Personality
Personality: Jackie was brought to Keri as a 7 year old who wouldn't allow for human contact. Keri has spent the last three years of her life devoted to gaining this mare's trust, and when she got a call from her Aunt saying that she was being sent over to the school for her to use, she was ecstatic. The mare has come a long way, and is being used for everything from Barrel Racing to Calf Roping. Keri hopes to further the mare's abilities this last school year in hopes that she can find her a good home where she can be used for anything in the Western discipline while Keri is away at College.

The History
Basic History: When Keri first met Jackie, the mare was skittish and did not trust any humans. Her past owners, all six of them, had abused her, run her into fences when she wouldn't listen, beat her when she did something wrong, and run her harder than she should have ever been run at such a young age. The mare preferred the darkest corners of her stall to romping in the fields with the other horses. She was scared. Keri spent three years working with her before she fully trusted the girl, and now, Jackie lets just about anyone touch her, climb aboard, play with her, or braid her mane. She's a success story, and Keri's favorite horse yet, but Keri knows that she won't have the mare forever, because when college rolls around, she'll need the money to pay tuition, room, and board, and she won't be able to bring more than one horse.

The Personality
Personality: Cruise is a bit frisky at times, and can be slow to form a bond. However, once a bond has grown between horse and human, he would never hurt them. He sometimes seems to have two personalities; the frisky, sometimes too-strong bully, and the sweet 'I would crawl in your lap if I could' beauty. He loves cookies, although he only eats from the hands of people he knows. When he gets too hyper, he tends to kick the walls in his stall, or kick out at other horses in the fields, though he has never struck one before.

The History
Basic History: Cruise was born in an intense show barn. Soon, he was the pride of the place, jumping and placing nicely. Then, one day he spooked at a jump and his rider flew off his back and over the jump. The barn didn't want him anymore, as he was instantly labeled as a dirty stopper, so they took him to an auction. He then went through a number of homes, but no one had the time or inclination to form a bond with this horse. After his fifth or sixth home, he was sent to Blue Ridge Auction where he was purchased by Keri with the help of her uncle. She hopes to train him in Dressage and Cross Country to complete the training for an eventing horse, seeing as he already had the build for a jumper and in his background information he was said to be a natural jumper. The two will learn to trust and live together.
