Personality>> John is a very independent type. He is used to working on his own, and figuring out the solutions to problems without any help from those around him. He is also rather stoic in many respects, his parents taught him not to complain, and just to figure out how to make something better. Those who do finally come to know him well learn that he is very forgiving of mistakes and insults, and also very creative. He is rather adaptable, and can conform to most situations, although he'll admit that he is out of his element at loud parties. He isn't the most organized individual, although he usually manages to find anything he needs.

Appearance>> John stands at about 5 feet 4 inches, and weigh in at 130 pounds, as he is muscled and used to work. He has brown hair, rather long for a boy, and a nice smile, which doesn't meet his eyes most of the time. His clothes are usually a uniform of grey shirts and jeans, although he wears cargo pants on occasion. His brown eyes are a normal shade, very dark, although there is never any doubt that they are anything but brown. He usually wears sturdy boots, even when he isn't around the barn, and his clothes are usually just slightly wrinkled from being in his none-too-organized drawer.

But I’ve gotta let it go

Full History>> John was born to a pair of ordinary, down to earth farmers in Kansas. He was a very welcome addition to the family, and his parents loved him to bits. One day, during the planting season, when John was six months old, a tornado came out of nowhere. The natural disaster killed John's father on the scene and left his mother with fatal wounds. of which she died within the week. After their deaths, John was sent away to live with a foster family, who later adopted him and gave him their last name. John doesn't know that he's adopted, and his family never told him. He is their only child.
The people who adopted him, Salem and Robert Ahearne, gave John everything he could wish for. They owned a small riding stables, where they gave lessons to the local population of Auburn, KY. John learned to ride as soon as he could walk, and learned to love the sport. He found that he enjoyed Western riding more, although he tried both disciplines, and found his true calling when he attended a clinic on barrel racing. He started focusing on getting better at that one aspect of riding, although his 'mother' insisted that he continue working in English tack once in a while, so that he would be 'well-rounded'. For his thirteenth birthday, he received his own horse, a proven quarter horse mare. His other present, which he received at his eighth grade graduation, was a spot at Blue Ridge Riding Academy.
