David is a real character, that's for sure. David had a very large sense of humor, and can make almost anybody laugh. It isn't hard to love him, that bright smile that can just make people feel bad for being mean or grumpy towards him. He's really just a big teddy bear, and can make friends as quick as a heart beats. He is a real deep person if given time, and is very social, loves to meet new people. He is a big joker, and loves to make people laugh, loves to watch them and just play around, being the silly guy he is. David himself, never really stops smiling, or at least he tries to never stop smiling. He could laugh at anything, whether it be funny or not, and that's a downfall. Some one ice skating and falling, he could laugh, just by out of instinct, sliding across the ice and so on. He tries to laugh at a lot of things, but in all honesty, most of the things he laughs at he doesn't find all too funny. But that doesn't mean the he isn't funny, he just blurts out things that people just laugh at. He doesn't even plan it, he just has a natural funniness to him, just to make people laugh. Over all, he's just a silly person, with a funny personality.
David can be very serious though, and sometimes he can find things offending. He is a very, very touchy person, sure he laughs at anything. But one word can throw him into a rage, he has very severe anger problems, and has ended up hurting himself in anger. Its due to problems of his past, and he is a sensitive person, not in a type where he could get hurt, but just a mere word can anger him. He doesn't let anyone know this, so its a big downfall as he can surprise others, that think that he is a big lovable teddy bear. His anger can cause him to throw things, go blind with rage, and cause physical damage to both him and another person. His anger can blind him, and he doesn't even realize what hes doing until its too late, or its over. Once angered he is a very terrifying person, his height and strength can intimidate other, and with his size he can cause serious damage, and has. Due to this, he is required to take counseling, not just for his rage issues, but from issues in his past.
David can get anyone to open up, his warm ways that hide the seething anger behind. His smile, and those bright eyes, if your around him, you'll open up to him, whether you like it or not. He can be a very welcoming person, and listens very well to others. David can give very good advice, and doesn't realize it at times. He can say things that can help people with whatever they are dealing with. He is also very protective over his friends, and if they are harmed or being insulted, he gets angry, and when he gets angry, he is dangerous. His temper boils over and he makes his mind to make sure that who ever it is will never hurt them or insult his friends again. Back to being a person to just crack open anyone with a problem, there is a different side to that. He himself, does not open up to any help very well, and it takes a lot to maybe even get a small glimpse of behind the scenes. He doesn't enjoy counseling, as he has already been forced to take it for years. He finds it pointless and a waste of time, as it isn't helping, and is very short and cut off to any counseling. He is a very secretive person, and probably always will be.
Relationship time. David is very scared of relationships, and if it comes to any sort of long distance or any commitment he can choke. Once he gets sight of someone who seems like they're falling for him, he bolts the other way. He has never been in more than one relationship, and is doubted to ever be in anymore. Being in a relationship scares him, he doesn't know why, he just runs away from it. There's a chance that he could cave, and start to fall for a girl, but that's a one and a million chance. If he ever does fall into a relationship, he is the most loving person ever, and will spend any spare time he has to be around them. He is completely dedicated to the other person in his relationship. But before any cracking down, he is really guarded, and will distance himself from the person, if he feels they are getting way too close, he spaces him self out. He will put a lot of distance between himself and that person, and anyone around him as he tends to feel a little awkward. Other than that, he is a loyal person to all his friends, and tends to just be a secluded person.

Full History>> David was born in Arizona, his mother being Alice Calipso and his father John Calipso. When he was born, his parents had already had a daughter, three years before him. His older sister named Kayla, was three years older than him, and quite pretty. But after David had been born, his mother lost too much blood and died in the hospital. His father and mother had been together since their high school years, so his father was nearly destroyed by it. His father reluctantly raised both Alice and David, most reluctance was towards David as he was the one who caused his mother to die. His father blamed David for everything and treated David horridly. His father became an alcoholic, trying to get away from the pain of losing his love. After David grew a bit older, his father would lose his mind after drinking too much, and continuously beat David. Kayla would sit by, too terrified to do anything, to get in the way of her father beating the younger boy. Sometimes Kayla would try to step in, but David would usually ward her off, just taking it and dealing with whatever wounds he had later. At those times, his temper was minimal, and he felt bad for his father, knowing how much he was suffering. David also felt guilty, as his father had made him to believe that it was all his fault that his mother was gone. So he never fought back against his father, at first the beatings were small, a hit or two, but the more his father drank, the more violent he got. Kayla was also growing older, and as she got older, she would keep away from home more. She cared about her brother, but he wouldn't let her do anything to help him. When Kayla became eighteen, she moved out of the house, but stayed close just to keep a eye on the father and son. As David got older, he could fend off the wounds better, being stronger and occasionally putting his hands up to stop it. One night, the beatings got so horrid, that his father took a bat to David. That's when things got ugly.
David was only fifteen at the time, while his father was in his thirties. His father was so intoxicated that he just started beating David with the bat. He broke Davids arm, breaking his left radius, causing him to sit out a baseball season. Baseball was David's life, and still is, as he wishes to become a professional. After his radius was broken, David had to go to the hospital on his call as it hurt too much to let it mend on its own. Being only fifteen, David had to call Kayla to take him, as his father was too intoxicated to drive and he didn't want to put anyone in danger. That's where Kayla drew the line, after David was out of the hospital, getting better she reported the years of abuse that were brought upon David from his father. His sister took their father to court, and fought to take David away from him, so he would no longer be in wretched conditions. Not only was David abused constantly, the house was a mess, and no matter how hard David tried to keep it together, his father would always wreck it. His sister eventually won the fight, and took David to live with her. She also put a restraining order on her father, to keep him away from David and her. David's temper had been developing over the years, and the older he got, the more angered and frustrated he would become just watching his father. After he was taken away from his father, his temper boiled over. He fought with Kayla for a week, angered at her for doing such things as he had to take care of their dad. Him and Kayla slowly became a bit distanced, as he was very frustrated with her. Kayla had seen David mad only once before their fighting, and it was anything like this, he just gritted his teeth and raised his voice. But now it was completely different, he yelled, he threw things, he put his fist through the wall. She saw what years of abuse and anger had done to him. But after awhile, he slowly cooled off, and she saw that he had become his usual self again, for awhile. David was having a particularly hard day as he walked to his sisters, high school hadn't been at all too fun that day and he was just frustrated. Well, some boys went the wrong way, and decided to mess with him. But they had made a bad decision.
At first, David had dealt with it, had just told them to back off. But the two boys didn't, and they continued to push him. Already near the verge of becoming angry, he lost it and began to act violent. The first guy stayed by choice, but only for a few minutes. The other guy bolted, but watched from a distance. After David had swung at the first guy a couple times, the guy had no choice as David wouldn't back away from him. David was basically using him as a punching bag, letting out his anger on him without even knowing. Losing sight of what was really happening, David beat the kid until the other boy called the police, David had been pulled away from the boy and the other boy had been hospitalized. Unfortunately, the boy was hurt so bad, his parents pressed minimal charges, and he was forced to a juvenile detention center, for nearly a year. After he was out, which was when he was some way into his sixteenth year, him and his sister were at a partially awkward place. His sister wasn't sure what to do about his temper, and she agreed with the court, even though he was already being forced, to send him to counseling. Of course, David protested as it took some time away from his constant training for baseball. David didn't back away from baseball, it would seem that would be reasonable after such a horrific experience with a bat, but no, it only made him like baseball more. He believed that he was taking it out on the ball, making him want to use the bat and just picturing who ever it was having pain with the bat. So David went to counseling, and was very quiet about it, he made virtually no progress at all. His sister found it hopeless, he found it pointless. Well one day they were just driving, going on a road trip and he saw horses in a field, with a rider. He became slightly mesmerized with it, and asked his sister if he could try it. After a long time convincing, his sister caved and let him. He became softer, his temper vanished for the time being, and he became more addicted to riding. After awhile, his sister saw how it helped, more than the counseling, but he was still required to go. That was when she surprised him with a horse for his seventeenth birthday. He instantly fell in love with the 4 year old mare he was gifted, and spent almost all his time working with her. The two hit it off immediately and the mare and David grew together, they were nearly inseparable. After bonding and being taught about the English and Western riding, he began competing. One night, on the way to a show they got into a crash.
No one was horribly injured, only David's mare had been traumatized by the crash in a way. The mare had become very distant and would spook at many things, and wouldn't go near trailers without objecting. As soon as the mare caught sight of a trailer she would rebel and run away, despite Davids ethics, the mare was too afraid. She had lost some of her trust, and was also slightly cautious of David. While David put every ounce of his free time into getting the mare back to normal, he wasn't able to make very good progress. He had an outside life, as he also had a dog, who he had gotten a year earlier, around the same time he had gotten his horse. The dog was from a rescue and rehabilitation program, as he had adopted her, a young two year old retired greyhound. More or less retired, as they had saved her from the races as she was neglected and slightly abused. So he was busy with Serena, his school work, and his baseball life. While he was really the only one in his whole school, maybe let alone his whole community to ride horses, and own one, the others such as teachers and his coach weren't as generous to fit his schedule around it. His schedule didn't leave much time for his horse, and his riding, so his sister set out in search of a place where he could complete school work, do sports, and do what he loved which was riding. His sister found Blue Ridge, and after talking to him, convincing him to leave his friends behind for the good of his horse and him, she got him to go. Getting him to go was a struggle, as it also included the fact there was counseling, where he could continue his sessions on working on problems about his father and his anger issues, despite his wishes.
We found love in a hopeless place
