Appearance>> Ekaterina has blond hair that goes past her shoulders. She has blue eyes that are the color of the ocean. Ekaterina normally wears jeans and a t-shirt depending on the weather though her outfit may change as the weather changes. Ekaterina normally wears her hair in a braid, a bun or a ponytail. Sometimes she'll wear it loose depending on the day. She'll wear boots if she's heading out to the barn but most of the times she'll wear flip flops or flat dress shoes. Depending on if it's humid or Ekarerina will wear her hair down. Her hair tends to gets curly when it gets humid out. For shows however Ekaterina will put her in a braid and then put it up in a bun.

Full History>> Ekaterina was born on September 8, 1999 in a local hospital is Russia. Ekaterina isn't an only child though. Her parents had Alexsandra three years earlier. Her mother was Irina Petrovskaia while her father was Ivan Petrovskaia. Ekaterina's mother was a professional equestrian while Ivan was a vet. Ekaterina was on the back of a pony being led around before she could walk. It was a joke in the Petrovskaia family that Ekaterina was destined to be an equestrian. Unlike Ekaterina's sister however Ekaterina loved horses and riding. Her sister justs didn't like it as much.
When Ekaterina was 5 she was in kindergarden at a well-known school in Russia near the Petrovskaia house. Ekaterina did well in school even though she was only in kindergarden. She worked hard at what the teachers told the class to do. Ekaterina contuined riding on the small pony her parents had gotten her after she had been born. Ekaterina entered her first show on the small pony named Ebony during the summer of 2nd grade. Ekaterina did very well at her first show. She contiuened to excell at school. Ekaterina spent her time outside of school riding Ebony,reading a book or spending time with her family. Unlike most siblings however Ekaterina and Alwexsandra had close bond. They didn't argue that much but when they did it stopped after 1 or 2 minutes and they where back to being the best of friends.
Ekaterina was in 3rd grade when her parents sold Ebony. Ekaterina was sad of course but she knew the pony would be going to a good home. Her mother let Ekaterina ride one of her horses while her parents searched for a horse for Ekaterina. While her parents where looking for a horse for her Ekaterina contuing to win at the shows she entered. Untill Ekaterina was in 6th grade she rode one of her mother's horses. During 6th grade Ekaterina meet her two best friends. The three girls loved horses and spent alot of time together outside of school. They all spent alot of time at each other's houses for sleepovers and other stuff. Finally in 7th grade when her parents where about to give up hope looking for a horse for Ekaterina they were out visiting a farm.The horse that Ekateriana was being shown was a chestnut Budenny mare. The man saddled up the mare and let her try the horse out. Ekaterina and her clicked immediatly. She asked her parents if they could buy her and her parents said yes. The mare was fairly inexpensive because the man's daughter was going off to college and couldn't take the mare with her. The parents paid for the mare and they took the mare home with them that day. The papers they had got with the mare said that she was 16.2 hands and that she was 5 years old. Ekaterina decided to name the mare Liliya.
In 8th grade however Ekaterina's life was about to change forever. Her father had gotten laid off from his job. However he had applied to a job in the United States and had gotten the job offer. Ekaterina was happy her father got a job but upset that she would have to leave her beloved country and best friends. During the mid term break of 8th grade the Petrovskaia family moved from Russia to America. Her father's job was in Maryland so they moved to a house close to his job. Ekaterina was able to take Liliya with her and her mother was able to take two of her horses. Her mother home schooled Ekaterina for the rest of 8th grade while Ekaterina was looking for a school to enroll in for 9th grade during the winter. She was online looking for equestrian schools when one popped up that said Blue Ridge. She showed her parents the website and they agreed that she should enroll. Her sister was less than happy though. 3 years apart meant that 9th grade would Ekaterina's last year with her sister in school. Ekaterina explained to her sister about and Alexsandra finally agreed. Ekaterina said she wouldn't apply unless everyone said that it was ok. Ekaterina sent in her application to Blue Ridge on December 14. Ekaterina got a letter from Blue Ridge on June 29. The letter said that she'd been accepted to Blue Ridge. Ekaterina worked hard with Liliya over the rest of summer. They had trained since she got the mare back in Russia. Liliya had been trained to jump and do dressage.
