Personality>> Zephira is an all-around trustworthy mount. At the age of 13, she has seen and done many things, making her good for a student. She tends to take things slower these days, mostly enjoying time in the pastures and hacks through the forest trails. She will gallop about, but not like the younger mares and geldings around. She does have a graceful air about her, arching her neck and body, reminiscent of her show days before retirement. Most things Zephira merely bats a lash at, though snakes...those will set the poor mare off. If a stick or something similar looks like a snake, she may react, though if given time to look at the object in question, she is usually alright.

Basic History>> From the moment Zephira was born, she would be Isaiah's. Her owners, his grandparents, decided to give the registered title including 'IIB' for Isaiah, knowing he'd want her when he was old enough. As part of the KFPS, the Dutch registry for Friesians, Zephira had a noble pedigree, and would spend her days raising several fine young foals to continue on the legacy of the breed. Before her breeding, Zephira was trained briefly in dressage and show jumping, though not enough for showing properly.
After giving birth to a set of twin colts at the age of 8, Zephira was retired from breeding, her training being focused on dressage. Isaiah helped to train her, and over the past several years, the mare has grown into a wonderful dressage horse. She is still learning, and so is her rider, but with her age and soundness, she is one to watch.
