Personality>> Ingrid comes off as being extremely cold. She has a perpetual scowl on her face and would rather not be disturbed. She finds people fascinating, but social interactions tiresome. Like a true Norwegian, she’s slow to warm up to people, but the few times she decides to be friendly, it’s the real deal. Snarky and full of dry wit, Ingrid’s icy persona can be a bit off-putting. Mostly, she likes her space and just wants to go through life with as few interruptions as possible. Watching other people flounder and fail gives her a modicum of satisfaction. She can be downright amicable when she chooses and enjoys social outings on her own terms. Rugged and down-to-earth, Ingrid enjoys physical activities or doing things in nature. Appearance>> Ingrid looks like the typical Norwegian blonde. She's tall and athletic and inherited a classic Nordic appearance. However, Ingrid doesn't care much for all of that. She doesn't wear makeup, and her preferred attire is something that's comfortable and durable. She knows how to dress for the weather and has appropriate clothes for every season. She owns her fair share of Norwegian sweaters and does wear them, but she never thinks of them as a fashion article. While she owns some nice dresses, Ingrid is more than happy to lounge around in a hoodie and yoga pants or jeans and a t-shirt.

Full History>> Even in an egalitarian society, some people were born into wealth. Ingrid was born in Oslo, Norway to very wealthy parents. A home in Frogner, a private island, and a winter cabin in the mountains never felt out of place. Growing up, Ingrid never felt wealthy, and she never thought about just how much more she had compared to her friends. As a young girl, she was mostly focused on having fun and exploring the great outdoors. She was fascinated by the world around her and took up a rather outdoorsy lifestyle. She much preferred studying in the park to being cooped up in the library. Even the dead of winter couldn't get her to cancel a weekend ski trip with her friends. Horses were just always part of that lifestyle. Late summer was always marked by a week long horse camping trip into the mountains and forests.
Her life seemed perfect, and Ingrid could want for nothing. However, her parents wanted their daughter to be successful and thought that America would be a good place to meet people of different backgrounds as well as improve her English. Her wealthy uncle agreed to look after her in America, and Ingrid was sent on her way. She was enrolled at Blue Ridge as a way to further her riding and hopefully make some more international friends. Ingrid resented her parents' decision, but they softened the blow by letting her take her cat and horse with her. She spent the winter break with her uncle in America before going to Kentucky.

History>> Reginleif was born to a Norwegian Forest Cat breeder in Norway and was the one kitten who wasn't sold prior to birth. Friends of Ingrid's parents heard about the kitten and suggested that they inquire. Ingrid was initially reluctant to let another feline into her life after the last one died a few months prior, but her parents went ahead and bought the kitten anyway. For Ingrid, it was love at first sight. Reginleif quickly established Ingrid as her favorite human. When Ingrid moved to America for her education, Reginleif accompanied her. Mostly, the kitten was pampered and adored.
