Personality>> Tana is playful and curious with a sense of adventure and inquisitiveness that can and will get her in trouble. She doesn't actively try to misbehave, but will take any available opportunity to go for a little trek if a gate or door is left open. She's a fast learner and eager to please especially if there are treats involved. Her biggest vice is not running away from things. She likes to play meet-and-greet by nibbling or nosing stuff, though that does mean objects are at risk for being bitten. Out on the trails, Tana is sure footed and calm. Nothing seems to get her spooked, though she shouldn't be left alone. With Tana, there is no such thing as a dull day as she'll either get herself into trouble or make sure her rider isn't becoming complacent. A few well timed bucks keep a rider thinking.

Basic History>> Tana was born at a breeding farm in northern Norway. One of Ingrid's more distant relatives owned the operation and frequently sold horses to Ingrid's parents. The first several years of Tana's life consisted of basic handling and work under saddle. Even though she was taught how to jump and do dressage, she never showed until Ingrid acquired her after the girl outgrew her old Fjord horse. The two have been a pair for the better part of four years, and Tana proved to be the ideal mount for Ingrid. She's not the most competitive horse, but Ingrid and Tana were quite happy to be competing through the First Level of eventing together as well as exploring the Norwegian landscape. Shortly after Ingrid left for America, Tana was shipped over as well.
