Chase left his suite cases down at the bottom of the steps and walked Roscoe to the room. Picking the key out of his pocket and putting it the door, the initial turn of it was a little nerve racking, why Chase didn't know. Closing the door behind him the room was defiantly already inhabited and that was perfect fully fine with the fourteen year old. Letting down the cat Roscoe began sniffing around to see if he could tell who else lived here, he didn't mark his territory so no other cats. That was a plus, not that he didn't like other felines he just got on by himself more. Walking back to collect as much luggage as he could Chase had to make about three trips to make sure he got all of what he had left down stairs.
Walking to the third floor with giant suite cases wasn't the easiest and out of the two or three people he saw milling around the halls didn't offer to help. He guessed newbies weren't acknowledged right away. He shrugged it off and dragged his stuff to his side of the room; to the bed that looked like it wasn't being used. In all honesty he didn't know if he was excited or nervous to meet his new roommate. Roscoe was not even paying attention to the fact that this room was completely unknown to him he just was rolling around on the floor. Chase sat on his bed as he didn't know what he wanted to do first.

Ben was walking back from town, where he'd taken a trip to pick up some things for Lady. He would have driven, but it wasn't too hot today, so he thought that he'd take advantage of the break from the heat and walk. After dropping his purchases off at the White Oak Barn on the way back and saying hello to Lady, he made his way back to his room. After surveying the first floor of White Ribbon for anyone to talk to, he trotted up to two flights of stairs to his room. He was bored, and he just wanted to talk to somebody.
Opening his door, he was expecting to find his room empty as it always had been, as he'd never been assigned a roommate. He was thus very surprised when he entered his room to find a kid sitting on the other bed. Eyebrows shooting up, Ben scrambled for an introduction, his ease with words gone for the moment. "Uh, hi, you must be my new roommate...I'm Ben." Assessing the new student from where he stood, Ben could tell that he was stall, probably taller than himself, which was saying something.
"Do you need any more help with you luggage, or did you get it all already?" Judging by the suitcases, it looked as if he was finished, and Ben wished that he could have arrived a bit earlier to help. He remembered how difficult it had been to get all his stuff up to the third floor of the building. Walking over to his own bed, which sat by the window, Ben was surprised to find a cat nearly beneath his feet. He'd come very close to either stepping or tripping on it, and after rearing back for a moment, he stepped carefully over it and found his way to his bed, which he stood next to and drummed his fingers against the top of the bed stand. He was actually thrilled about this new roommate, as he'd been lonely for the past couple months. He was the sort of person who craved attention and loved being around people, so this would hopefully be a very nice change.
