It's so good to hear from you again! I must make apologies for my lack of correspondence, at times my work gets the better of me, and I forget my courtesies. I have been well nonetheless, indeed, keeping busy has helped me with Leo's loss. I know it must be harder for you and the children, who were so close to him. Just trust that he is watching over you, and he would want you find some peace.

Hopefully those horses of his will help your children never forget him. If I remember them correctly, they were quite the pair, truly something that is a worthy reminder. I'm glad to hear that Faolan has finally come into a discipline, and hopefully Tempest will follow him in that regard. Perhaps put to her the question of hunt seat?

Thank you for that! I had almost forgetten, I do indeed have some photos of my own, although I left most of them in Wales when I moved. The apartment I inhabit here has a few of my fondest, and this one will join them on the wall as soon as I find a suitable frame.

DEAR LILY,

That's wonderful, to hear the children are finding so much solace in their horses. I wish there was a way to keep more track of their achievements, but so far, I haven't found a way of that. If they have any questions that you can't answer, they can always contact me. I would do anything for Leo's children, small as it might seem. Please tell Faolan how proud I am of his accomplishment as well, he must really be getting good with the horses.

Girls will be girls, I have heard it be said. Perhaps there is something at the stable, or at school, that is bringing back too many memories? I know she was close to Leo, and you might be surprised what brings up memories. But then, maybe not, as you know as well as I. Perhaps a change of pace, if only for a week?

Our weather here has been more agreeable, although I remember just how much rain you get. Have the children grown fins yet? If there is anything I can do, just ask, as you should know.

DEAR LILY,

I'm so sorry to hear about your misfortune, but it is wonderful to hear that your friends stepped up and helped you in your time of need. Hopefully it won't be too long before you find a new home, although I know you will mourn for the old one.

Those horses of Leo's, I don't doubt would sell for quite a bit. As hard as it may seem, sometimes the worst option is holding on. Hopefully Faolan will be able to continue riding with his work, if you find a place nearby.

I know Leo's opinion on debt, and owing them, and yet I know his stoicism. Lily, I vowed I would help you and your family however I could after Leo's passing, and I'm sure we both know that his hatred of oath-breakers was even worse than his hatred of debts, real or imagined. Let me assist you, it would be an honour.

Don't worry about it, I can see now that you had other worries on your mind.

That's almost what I was afraid of, to be honest. I know that there's nothing true about them, but children rarely have that oversight. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble that Faolan got into, I know that's the last thing you should have to worry about.

Perhaps a change of pace, and a new location, is the best for the children after all. I feel crass for even suggesting it, but have you ever considered a boarding school? I wouldn't even suggest it, but I know that you won't leave, but maybe the children need to get away from it all?
