With a cup of coffee in one hand and her briefcase in the other, Violet was ready to take on her classes. She taught only biology as far as academic classes went but she had so many students enrolled in biology that it was split into two different classes. Taking a deep breath she looked around the room. She had set up the class so that the desks and lab tables were separate from each other. Pulling out an expo marker Vi uncapped it and wrote Did King Phillip Cry Out For Goodness Sake, capped the marker and returned to her desk.

She liked to make the children think on their first day of class, she wasn't going to take it incredibly easy on them, she didn't care if this was a lower level science or not, they were here to learn and that was what they were going to do. And a lot of learning to be specific. When the students started to show up Vi handed out the set of notes that the students would be taking today. There were a lot of blanks on the paper, but they would get to filling them in soon enough.

Once class started with the sound of the bell, Vi stood in the front of the class. "Good morning everyone, I'm Ms. Woods and this is biology class A. We are going to jump right into the information. As you walked in I handed everyone a paper for notes. I already have on the papers what you need to know and write down. If you don't feel as though you need to take notes, then don't they way you will study for the tests will be up to you."

Her eyes scanned over her class, she figured the first day, at least, the students would take the notes to appease her, but after the first day she expected the students to become more outgoing and wanting to do what they want, which would in turn affect them solely, no one else. Violet took another breath and looked to the board. "Does anyone know why I have this sentence up on the board?" It was a random sentence to a new science student but to an old pro they would pick it up right away.

Sina pushed in her chair and then glanced down at Derecho with a smile, "Next class?" The dog's tail wag was all she got as an answer, and off they went, sauntering off to the next classroom. Sina arrived at the new classroom without too much trouble and smiled at the woman who stood by the door, taking the paper with the hand that didn't have Derecho's leash, "Thank you."

She stepped inside the classroom and glanced around, surprised to find that she was the first student to arrive, apparently. Well, at least it gave her her choice of seats! Sina picked a chair in the front middle, and then asked Derecho for an under before she sat down herself. Only then did she look down at the papers that had been handed to her, noting that they seemed to look like what was probably being presented, except that key words had been taken out. One of those teachers, then. Well, that worked.

So she left her notebook in her bag and only pulled out a pencil, setting it down next to the papers and then looking up. When the teacher started class, Sina listened, nodding as she heard that the note sheet wasn't mandatory. That made things easier, although she didn't really mind the format. When their attention was directed towards the sentence on the board, Sina read over it, trying to make sense of it, or even how it related to biology, but then shook her head. She'd never come across it before.

Samantha found herself to be the second student to arrive at the class. She took a paper when it was offered to her, quietly voicing her thanks before heading to find a seat towards the back of the class. She seated herself down, sliding her rucksack under the table before unzipping it and pulling her laptop out. Sam placed it on the desk, flicking the screen up and switching it on. She glanced at the notes, it looked to be pretty complicated stuff. Not good, this meant a challenging exam.
No matter, she would just focus and study hard.

She opened a word document on her laptop, next she double checked that the sound on her laptop happened to be muted. The last thing she needed was a sudden unwelcome sound from it. Sam stared blankly at the question on the board, she possessed absolutely no idea as to what it meant. She hoped that she would not be the one who was picked to answer it, assuming no one else knew the answer and the lecturer picked one.
Samantha glanced at the notes again, yep this stuff looked very complicated. This happened to be one of those lecturers which she could not afford to skip, even if she felt sick or ill.

Jenna showed up for her biology class exactly on time. She took her seat and looked at the paper for taking notes. The teacher immediately jumped into her lesson. Jenna had just enough time to get out a pencil and brush her hair to the side of her face before it began. Jenna stared at the sentence on the board. "Did King Phillip cry out 'for goodness sake'." It read. A perculier sentence if there ever was one. Jenna didn't have a clue what it meant.

Jenna thought about it for a minute, realizing that it might be one of those sentences where you took the first letter of every word and make an abbreviation. That would spell DKPCOFGS. Which made no sence at all. Jenna thought that mabey each letter than had a new word and that was the sentence to remeber it by. Jenna didn't raise her hand to show her thoughts though, as she thought that so far, what she had come up with, everyone would have.

Other than what she had so far, she had one more theory. DK, PC, OF, GS. Mabey they were all things on the periodic table. Jenna didn't know. She hadn't paid attention during that middle school class. 'Of' was a word. 'PC' meant computer, but Jenna didn't know what GS or DK meant, and she was positive they weart talking about computers or literature, so she didn't know where to go from there.
