Personality>> Honor can easily be described as a "free spirit." She is always fairly relaxed and open to doing almost anything. She is always up for new adventures and meeting new people; a very friendly person. She has the tendency to put too much trust into someone she barely knows, however. This leads to her issue of talking too much. She doesn't have many secrets, because she's bad at keeping them. As soon as she gets to know someone decently, she spills her whole life story. She sees the good in everyone, even if in reality they aren't that great. Honor is quite the optimist. She is a pretty confident person about most aspects in her life. She wants to succeed and make it to become a vet when she is out of school, but sometimes she doesn't give herself enough credit.

-Honor snuck out to a party when she was back in Michigan, and got pretty drunk. She told her family she was at a friend's house. When she woke up, she had no idea where she was and didn't know anyone around her and couldn't remember anything from the party. She's pretty sure she was drugged, but luckily she doesn't think anything happened other than passing out.
Appearance>> Honor is a natural blonde and usually wears it down and straight. Her eyes are a deep brown, which she inherited from her father. She is about 5'6" and tends to wear her riding boots most places. She doesn't dress up much, preferring her jeans and a t-shirt, with a hoodie if she was cold. Honor is fairly skinny, only weighing about 125 lbs. She stays in shape through riding and working out at least once a week. She very rarely wears any makeup, and if she does it's just eyeliner and mascara. Honor has her ears pierced, but doesn't wear earrings unless it's a special occasion. The only jewelry she usually wears is a rubber bracelet on her left wrist from her favorite band, Mayday Parade and a small necklace with a horse charm that her grandmother bought her before she passed away.

Full History>> Honor was born and raised in a small town in northern Michigan, the lower peninsula. She is the only child of her parents, Emily and Ray Matthews. Emily was a nurse at the local hospital and her father was an airplane mechanic. Her story isn't spectacular by any means. Her family went to church at the local United Methodist Church every Sunday and she grew up going with them. Somehow, the religious training never sank in and she could never quite believe in a god. It was the one thing she ever managed to keep her mouth shut about and just continued to go to church with her family.
Honor began riding before she could walk, riding double saddle with her mother. Emily had grown up at a riding stable owned by her father, and continued to own horses even after she moved out on her own. Honor got her first horse at the age of 10, promising her parents that she'd care for him well. Not long after, she began competing in western riding but was never very serious about it. It was always just more for pure fun for her.
Honor lost her grandma at the age of 12. She had been close to her grandma, as they had always rode horses together. It wasn't expected in any way, and Honor had been deeply upset by this loss.
Her friends from school always came over and rode the trails on the state land around their house as she grew up. As high school came around, most of her friends didn't think the horses were as cool as they once did. They lost interest in riding and became more interested in boys and makeup. However, Honor never lost her interest in the horse world. Boys became and interest, but she just tended to include them in her horse world.
She had her first boyfriend at the age of 15. Alex, the boyfriend, came over constantly and rode horses with her. They had their first kiss out by a tree while on a picnic with the horses. It was quite romantic, actually. Unfortunately, he lost interest in her about a year later when she found him kissing another girl in the high school halls. She broke it off quickly, very hurt that he could possibly do this to her. He had been her entire world for that year they were together. He knew everything about her. They had done almost everything together that they could for two fifteen year olds. Honor's friends told her she could do better, but as heart breaks go, she didn't believe them.
Things got better over the summer, as Honor began to focus even more on her riding. Her and her horse became closer and her times improved in her competitions. She began to make more friends in the horse world, and her parents encouraged her to ride as much as possible, as long as her grades stayed up.
Unfortunately, not long after she turned 17, her parents informed her they were moving to Kentucky so her father could get a better job at a new airport. She didn't want to leave Michigan, but her parents agreed to enroll her into Blue Ridge so she could focus on her riding and education at the same time. She's hoping to meet lots of new people and make new friends.

They enjoy playing together, which mostly includes Prince running over Mickey, but they're happy. Prince likes to chew on everything he can possibly get his teeth on, so Honor has to watch him closely when he's out.

Personality>> Mickey is reserved, compared to Prince's personality. He doesn't mind people, but it's more as if he just tolerates them. He doesn't mind it when Honor holds him, but he isn't fond of other people touching him. Prince is his best friend, even though they have two very different personalities. Mickey enjoys food, however. It seems to be the one thing that pleases him. He loves any food, especially treats. He still enjoys exploring just as much as Prince does, and he doesn't cause as much trouble as the other rat.
