Andie grabbed the tracksuit jacket from her bed and jogged toward the gymnasium. Yes, she had to have one of the best jobs she could possibly think of, that is short of being an actual cheerleader. There were times when she wished she hadn't turned down a full scholarship to Florida to take on a position as a working pupil, but if she had, then she doubted she would be here.
She liked the fact that she still got to do a bit of cheering - not at games though of course - and she had the ability to share her knowledge with the younger generation, but she was at an age, and position, where she could banter with the gymnastics coach when he called them wanna-be gymnasts and offered to take them on if they wanted to learn a real sport.
She smiled as she walked into the studio. She always felt a sense of pride when she walked through the doors, after all, if it wasn't for her, this would still be extra and unused space of the gymnastics studio, and while it wasn't as big as the one on the otherside of the wall, it suited their purpose.
She dropped her jacket on the bench that ran around the outside of the front and side of the studio, she walked over and began to flick things on, turning the stereo on and hitting play so that a good hip hop beat filled the room and she nodded her head in time to the music. She was then free to lean back against the wall as the team arrived and began to warm up, after all this was Blythe's stage and she was merely the stagehand.
