So, long story short, I've grown up with this handful of a pony. My stepmom bought her as a family horse when I was 10 (I am now 25) and when i was 16, I ended up with full ownership. We competed in hunter/jumper shows for about 8 years (mind you, as I have always paid everything myself with no help from parents, we only did schooling shows). She is now retired, but we still work over pretty decent-sized fences. She is going to be 23, but don't let that fool you - she will still keep up with the bigger and younger horses!
If anyone is wondering, she is a cremello paint :3 Don't ever get one unless you are willing to take the time to do sunscreen twice a day in the summer (she cant stay put up unless absolutely necessary due to not liking to be stalled up and then throwing her back out in her stall >_>), and constant...constant bathing. Dear Lord, keeping this mare clean is awful, but I love her :3
