Adelaide hummed softly to herself as she drifted about her classroom, adjusting a few minor details while she waited for her first class to arrive. Drama was a practical lesson and hence she had absolutely no need of traditional chairs and desks. But on the flip side, she utterly despised beanbags. The blonde didn't know why it was, or where the hatred had come from. She just knew that there was no way that she was keeping the things. She had therefore compromised and filled the corner of the room closest to her desk with a collection of cushions, rugs and blankets for students to sit on or not as they chose should it be necessary. But she didn't intend for them to spend much time sitting down. Drama was hard work, mentally and physically, and they needed to recognise that this was not the soft option.

Sina headed to Drama, curious to see how this new teacher would be. She'd been around long enough to have a few drama teachers, but it was always interesting to get a new take on things. She walked into the classroom and smiled as she saw that at least this time, chairs hadn't been brought back in - It seemed to be a thing about the drama class, and while they didn't have beanbags anymore, she didn't mind the substitution of cushions and rugs.
With a smile and a "Good morning," at the teacher, Sina grabbed a small, fluffy rug and found a space close to the wall, where she settled Derecho before sitting on her rug.

Kitty stifled a yawn as she made her way to her next lesson, rubbing sleep from her eyes. She had slept particularly badly last night, because of... well, reasons which she would rather not think about... and hence she was having a great deal of difficulty in keeping her eyes open and was not at all convinced that her brain was actually awake. Any moment now, she could quite well keel over. She managed to produce a cheery enough smile for the new teacher and for Sina before dragging a rug across the room and practically collapsing onto it.

Gladys sighed softly as she walked into the room and saw the complete lack of chairs. She really didn't like sitting on the floor; she had bony hips and sitting on a hard surface for any length of time meant that they started to ache in a manner that was quite uncomfortable. Still, she gave a warm smile to the teacher and perched uncomfortably on top of the fattest cushion that she could find in the room.

Adelaide returned the greetings of her students as they entered and spent some time flicking through a thick copy of Macbeth before finally deciding that it was about time that she got started and stowing the book in a desk drawer as she got to her feet. "Your attention, please." she began in a quiet voice. Adelaide was not in the habit of shouting except when entirely necessary; it wreaked havoc with the vocal cords, and while she might not be a professional singer any more, she would still like to retain her voice. "We will begin with a warm up exercise. Kindly find a space within the room and close your eyes."

Sina looked up at the sound of a drawer being shut - And yes, something seemed to be happening. She paid close attention to the teacher as the woman rose and spoke. After getting the instructions, Sina stood up, holding a flat hand out in front of Der's nose as she did so. Then she left the dog where he was and took a step away, creating hopefully enough space for whatever the teacher had planned!
