Adelaide sat behind the desk which she had tucked away in the very corner of the room, right out of the way, with one leg crossed over another. She was reading through an enormously thick book which its title declared was the Complete Theatrical Works of William Shakespeare- in point of fact, it wasn't; the Merchant of Venice had for some reason been excluded, but it was a fairly good text all the same. With her first class over, Adelaide had a better idea of what to expect from the students this time around, and so she was a great deal more relaxed. A pile of rugs, cushions and blankets was arranged in the corner by her desk- the somewhat informal seating arrangements for the class.

Kall loved drama class, it gave him the chance to step out of the norm, to really get into his creative side that other classes just didn't seem to allow. He grinned toward the teacher as he entered the classroom, and he walked over to lean against a wall as he took a notebook from his bag and began to read through the pages filled with his handwriting, while also watching the door to see the other students enter.

Finn entered the drama room, a self-assured smile on his lips, camera around his neck. He enjoyed the class well enough, but he took it more to annoy his father than any love of the stage, though he enjoyed using a camera well enough and if need be, he would happily video anything required.
Walking over to the middle of the room, he dropped to the ground; he didn't need anything soft as he spent enough time on the ground, and waited for the lesson to kick off.

Andrea entered the class rather gleefully; she liked acting well enough and she was alright at it - she was no movie star but she could get the job done. She smiled at Kal, who she remembered meeting once. She waved at the teacher and plopped down on a cushion then pulled a notebook out of her bag.

Adelaide rose to her feet and clapped her hands as she saw the hand on the clock moving to the appropriate place on the clock. "Your attention please, ladies and gentlemen!" she called briskly. "For those of you who do not know, I am Adelaide Strauss, teacher of drama and music, and I shall be doing my best to instil some sense of the arts into you during this lesson. You may address me as Miss Strauss, or any German students amongst you may find it beneficial to address me as Fraulein. Very well, then, let us begin. On your feet, if you please, and walk around the space at a normal pace. Use all the space including the corners, and do not follow each other like sheep. Let's go!"

Kall flipped his notebook closed as soon as the woman began to speak and he nodded as he took note of her name... he'd forget it in five minutes, he could guarantee it, but he knew it for now.
His eyebrow arched at the instructions but he shrugged as he straightened up and did as they were bid, walking around the room, using all the space they were given, wondering if Miss Strauss was going to elaborate on the why of the exercise.

Finn's eyebrows rose as the woman at the front of the room spoke, and he groaned as he stood up, testing his weight on his right ankle, as he was sure it had made a noise it didn't usually make as he rose, but it didn't hurt so he thought no more about it. "Baa." He said as he watched the male cheerleader - that was an oxymoron right there if there was ever one. He did however, find his own path around the room, making sure to use the corners.

"Focus, please." Adelaide reprimanded sharply, walking into the centre of the room and looking around her. "I shall count from one to ten. With each number, you will increase your pace. However, you will not run. Is this understood? You are to have one foot on the floor at all times. I shall then count backwards, and you will slow down again. This is a warm up exercise to engage the brain, and of course to determine that you each have one. Very well. One!"

Andrea grinned a bit uncomfortably as she stood, looking around at her fellow students. Well, if she wanted to do well in the class, she'd have to get used to doing as she was told. And so she started traveling around the room, avoiding the others as she went and making sure to go into the corners. Ms. Strauss called out to them again and Andrea wondered if she was going to like this teacher at all. No matter whether she and the teacher were going to get along. She increased her pace slightly as the counting began.

A snort of laughter escaped him at the gymnast's comment, though he continued making his way around the room.
His steps slowed as he listened to their teacher, frowning at her words; she wasn't exactly going to to try and make any friends, though he shrugged as he waited and picked up his pace as she began counting.

Finn scowled, holding back the urge to stick his tongue out when he was behind the woman. This was supposed to be one of those low-key classes, the one where you didn't always have to dot your i's and cross your t's. A place where he could have the chance to loosen his tie - so to speak of course.
When she carried on with her instructions, he couldn't help but wonder if her and Coach Hoefflin had met, they would be a match made in heaven, as this sounded like something he'd have dreamed up, yet they would be running, and he'd be blowing a whistle, not counting. He picked up his pace, a little, when she started counting.
