Teddy headed down to the barn, Jam draped across his shoulder like a short, cat-shaped scarf. He had spent the holidays at home, but had come back to school pretty early to give him some time to settle back in. So he'd decided that a good thorough brushing was in the cards for both of his horses - Starting with Spice. He stopped by the tack room to pick up the grooming kit, and then made his way to the Warlander's stall.
After letting himself inside and latching the door, he set Jam atop the gelding's broad back and then set the grooming kit into the corner. He pulled out his phone and started some music playing, and then reached for the hoof pick to get started.
