Nika had helped get Maisie up to her room, but other than that, Jenna had shooed her off to go and move herself in. Lord knows that Jenna would be done long before Nika anyway. Her bags weren't that hard to get up stairs either. She just wanted to get up there and start getting Maisie comfortable. Her roommate would probably hate her if she didn't get settled by bed time.
Once she got upstairs, she leaned her bags against the wall and grabbed the carrier. "Hi, little miss." Jenna smiled and pushed the door open. It was obvious she had a roommate but no one was there, which was a bit of a disappointment. She was ready to meet her new roommate already. It was exciting enough to think about having to share a room with someone.
Jenna set the carrier down on her bed, then drug her bags in and shut the door. She opened the carrier and pulled the small cat out, holding her close. They sat there for a moment before Jenna let her go, keeping an eye on the slinky creature's location. At the first footstep in the hallway however, the Maisie darted under the bed. Jenna sigh and dropped to the floor to find her. "You know, you suck at being an outdoor cat and an indoor cat." She mumbled from underneath the bed, trying to get a hold of the harness.

Jessa felt like she was covered in all sorts of mud as she walked up the stairs towards her room. She was definitely ready for a shower - Zo had decided it was a great day to roll, and then she'd slipped while out in the pastures and covered herself in even more muck. That horse was lucky she loved him, she thought sardonically, as she went to unlock the door to her room.
However, as she pushed open the door, her plans changed. She had forgotten about getting a new roommate, although at least she'd had the forsight to put a cover on the ferrets' run before she left. They were far from the door, situated between her bed and the far wall, but still. Pan and Kirra could be naughty if left to their own devices. Jessa plastered a grin onto her face and pulled the door closed behind her. Her roommate was currently half under the bed, it seemed, and Jessa waited patiently to introduce herself until the girl resurfaced.
