Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. In need of a few new shirts for the new season, Seth rode Hoot into town and left him chilling in one of the yards while he got what he needed.
With all his shopping sorted, the boy headed to the reserve, where he could spend some time, contemplating his future, where he was less likely to get in trouble from teachers for doing something he shouldn't be.
After following the paths through the reserve for a bit, he grinned when he saw his thinking tree ahead of him and leaving the bags holding his purchases on the ground by the trunk, he backed away from the tree and then ran towards it. Jumping just as he reached the tree, he kicked of the trunk and reached up for the lowest hanging branch, which he pulled himself onto, and then easily climbed up to his favourite spot, sat with his back against the trunk and looked out over the reserve as he pondered over what he planned to do after graduation.

The town of Blue Ridge wasn't exactly any great metropolis, but to Paige, who had grown up in what was quite literally the middle of nowhere, it was quite enough, and she was perfectly satisfied with the amenities that the place offered. It would do her very nicely up to graduation and beyond, she thought, and in fact, she would be quite happy to live here if required. Of course, that wasn't on her mind at present- to be honest, she didn't know what she was going to do after she graduated- but the point stood; Blue Ridge was a perfectly reasonable town, and she had managed to spend the afternoon there quite comfortably.
Strolling through the reserve, arm in arm with her sister who was having a rare pacifistic fit, the brunette paused momentarily as she spotted a familiar pair of legs dangling from a tree, before giving Piper a sideways glance and increasing her pace slightly, waving to the boy with her free hand.

Piper was having a stressful time of it at the moment; she had all kinds of things to worry about, and her sister really wasn't helping with her permanently relaxed attitude to just about everything. What infuriated her was that her twin seemed to manage to do just as well as she did, to fulfill just as many obligations, to complete just as many tasks- and yet she still didn't seem to be under the same amount of pressure as Piper herself was. It was all very irritating, and the brunette wasn't at all happy about it, but then what could she do? After all, the girl was her sister. They could hardly argue about it.
The reserve was nice, though; it was peaceful. Calming.
