Richard walked around his English classroom, placing a Belkin keyboard case - with ipad - on each of the desks, he would collect the ones not being used once class started, and then walked back to the front of the room and wiped the board clean, and pushed it to the side to uncover the blackboard. Picking up a piece of chalk he began to tidy up what was written on the board:
Thirteen Common Phrases: •Green Eyed Monster •In a Pickle •The World is Your oyster •Catch a Cold •It's all Greek to me •Love is Blind •Wild Goose Chase •A Heart of Gold •Break the Ice •Laughing Stock •Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve •Dogs of War •Method to His Madness
Placing the chalk in the box, he dusted his hands and then walked over to sit at his desk where he began to set up his laptop for the power-point as the students began arriving. Yes, he could have been mean and placed the likes of The Complete works of Shakespeare on the desk, and really made the students squirm - as he didn't know many who really enjoyed reading Shakespeare - but decided against it.

Mika was of the opinion that studying English was as pointless as him having to sit in a class on Hawaiian back home; he already spoke and wrote the language, so why should he had have to sit through a class and learn about it?
He entered the classroom and headed to one of the seats at the back of the room, giving the teacher a nod on the way passed, and threw himself down into the chair, before he went through his messy bag until he found the notebook he'd been using for this class.
Looking at the board, he raised his eyebrows and then shrugged as he turned his attention to the iPad on his desk and turned that on, figuring that he may as well surf the web while he was waiting.

Tori bounced into the English classroom, offering the teacher a radiant smile. "Good morning, Mr Stone!" She said brightly as she walked to her tabled in the middle of the room.
It didn't take her long to find the exact Tinkerbell branded folder she needed from her bag, and that with the glittery pencil case, she looked at the board. With a frown, she read through them, trying to work out what all those phrases had in common, other than being common, and came up with a blank.

Sina walked into the English classroom and smiled at the teacher, then glanced around and waved at Kall before she went to go sit with Tori. She grinned over at the girl and her Tinkerbell gear, then pulled out her own folder, much plainer, and set it under the iPad, with a pencil along the side.
Once she was set up, she looked up at the list, reading through them, then whispered over to Tori, "Think that last one is there to convince us there's a method to Mr. Stone's madness?"

Liana walked into the English Lit classroom and considered her options of seating, ignoring everyone already in the room apart from a brief moment of surveillance. Finally, she settled on a seat on the edge of the front row, away from the other three students already in the room, and then pulled out her argyle notebook, which already had a matching pencil in the spiral binding.
Once that was on her desk, she looked up at the board, reading over the list. She frowned as one of the cheerleaders behind her chuckled at what she'd just said, but ignored them - They were cheerleaders. It might have been the brightest thing the redhead had said all week, for all she knew.
Ben made his way through the hallway, head down, and walked into the English classroom with just a quick glance around before he made for an empty seat near the back. After pulling out his notebook, Ben started playing with the iPad, fiddling with all of the options and peeking into the various apps that teachers had downloaded onto it for their classes.
